[Work in Progress]

Harry Potter
Characters: Bill Weasley, Charlie Weasley, Oliver Wood, Percy Weasley

For Bill, I would like to see something about his time as a curse-breaker in Egypt.

For Charlie, I would like to see something about life at the dragon preserve.

For Oliver, I would like to see something about his professional Quidditch career.

For Percy, I would like to see something set after the battle at the Department of Mysteries but before he reconciles with his family.

Gen is fine, but if you feel the need for pairings, I headcanon Bill and Charlie as bisexual and Percy and Oliver as gay. Percy/Oliver is my OTP, but I read other slash pairings with the two as well.

Rent
Characters: Mark Cohen, Roger Davis

Eureka
Characters: Tess Fontana, Zane Donovan

For Tess, I'd like to see something about her life after she leaves Eureka.

For Zane, anything about his time before he came to Eureka would be awesome.

Law & Order
Characters: Connie Rubirosa, Cyrus Lupo, Ed Green, Jack McCoy, Michael Cutter

Stargate Atlantis
Characters: Anne Teldy, Laura Cadman

As some of you know, I modded scifiland at one point in time. And you would also know that scifiland has been closed for awhile.

Back in March of 2012 someone applied to join using open ID with their Google Plus account. I replied to ask if they had an LJ account, since I couldn't invite her to the comms otherwise. I heard nothing and forgot all about it.

Until Sunday. When this happened. Almost two and a half years later, she finally replies.

Stolen from queer_theory

1) Post a list of up to 20 books/movies/anime/TV shows/video games/bands that you've had an obsessive fannish love or interest in at some time in your life.

iTunes has been doing this weird thing of artificially inflating the play counts on songs. And it's really fucking obvious because there's no way in hell I've listened to Blurred Lines almost seven thousand times.

This morning I went fuck it and just reset all my play counts back to zero.

Then this happened:

You can tell what time I switched from a two-song repeat loop to a one-song repeat loop.

CBS Upfronts first:

I’m elated that the HIMYM spin-off didn’t work out. That seemed like the dumbest thing ever.

With the move to Sunday nights and the new, unnecessary spinoff taking the slot later in the season, I’m worried that this could be the last season for my baby. If CSI getting a 16th season means the spinoff crashes and burns, that’s a-ok with me. And with holding it back until mid-season, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the last season for The Mentalist.

Assuming CBS leaves NCIS put on it's schedule, I approve of shifting SHIELD to 9pm. Hopefully it will also help out Forever.

For the most part, I'm pretty underwhelmed by ABC's line-up, though I did leave a lot in the Maybe column.

Deadline has trailers for Fox's new shows up, so Fox Upfronts discussion time.

Oh, Fox. WTF are you thinking? And not just about cancelling Almost Human, which I’ll be bitter about for awhile. Sunday night has been Animation Domination since the beginning of time, why are you putting live action shows there? Also, please stop jerking Bones all over the schedule. Pick a night and stick with it. Though at least if Idol is going down to a one-night thing, it might not have to make a midseason switch this time. And really, they cancelled Almost Human to pick up some of this shit? *sighs*

I return from a two months hybernation from posting to babble about upfronts. I'm using the trailers and descriptions of the new shows from Deadline. LJ won't let me link directly to them, so you'll have to track them down on your own.

WTF are you doing with The Blacklist people? It starts the season on Monday and then switches to Thursday. While I think changing up one of the few things that works on NBC is bad enough – but The Blacklist’s Monday replacement starts November 17th and it doesn’t start on Thursdays until February 5th. WTF? Does that mean almost three months of no The Blacklist. Part of that would have been repeats anyway, but that just seems dumb.

Does anyone know what the episode order of Parks & Rec is? I know it’s the last season and that NBC is holding it back until midseason, but it would be nice to know if it’s still a full season order or not.

And now for what I think about the new shows.
